Spare Parts Technician- Guayama

1. Update, maintain, organize and coordinate the release of tools and spare parts.
2. Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
3. Expedite purchase orders of tools and spare parts.
4. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, Client’s requests, or client’s descriptions of malfunctions.
5. Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
6. Fill customer orders from stock.
7. Prepare sales slips or sales contracts.
8. Take inventory of stock.
9. Advice customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
10. Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.
11. Constantly update spare parts inventory in the stock room by entering releases and deliveries of spare parts in current computerized system.
12. Maintain spare parts room organized and clean.
13. Communicate with and receive vendors in order to obtain quotations and or procure spare parts.
14. Follow up purchase orders for prompt or target date delivery.
15. Receive and deliver tools and parts according with established procedures.
16. Strictly follow company’s safety and cGMP policies and procedures.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor to support normal operations.
18. Trained on Power Industrial Truck (PIT), such a boom truck, forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, sky track, pickup truck, and company cars.
19. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATIONAL or EQUIVALENT REQUIREMENTS:

T echnical Degree in a relevant mechanical discipline or related field with equivalent industrial experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Trained on Power Industrial Truck (PIT), such a boom truck, forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, sky track, pickup truck, and company cars.
