Human Resources Assistant

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant. ​

What you’ll do:

The HR Assistant.HR.Business Partner.Site has the responsibility of assisting in HR functions and duties in the administration of day-to-day operations. Enhancing and streamlining our company’s HR functions, fostering a positive working environment, and contributing to overall organizational success.

Main tasks: The HR assistant role may be 80% dedicated to one of the 3 main areas below, including Data Management duties:

1) Recruitment and Training

• Keep up-to-date documentation related to recruitment/interview processes

• Coordinate onboarding orientations, provide talks (as required), and facilitate the documentation process for new employees

• Follow up on Human Resources regulatory trainings

2) Payroll System

• Keeping documentation related to payroll records processes up to date

• Generate reports as required

• Ensure the integrity of the data entered into the system

3) CMO Employee Relations Activities

• Assist medical team with employees appointments and record keeping.

• Support personnel with medical surveillance processes (e.g. coordination, documentation)

• Customer Service focus- provide basic orientation to employees about benefits, and leave of absences like: FMLA, SINOT, LTD, CFSE among others.

• Manage filing Medical records.

• Manage metrics of CMO as required.

• Enter data of Leave of absences in system, and generate reports as required.

The following tasks are required based on business needs:

Community and/or Employee Activities

• Constant support in activities and initiatives related to employees.

• Support in community-related activities and initiatives as required.

Documentation and Transactions in HR systems ( applicable to all critical functions:

Recruitment, Training, Payroll and CMO)

• Confidential handling of all documentation generated or delivered for use or archiving.

• File, keep up to date and in order all documentation related to the employee and that needs to be kept.

• Follow instructions, when responding documentation/ information as needed and required

• Generate HR transactions through solution tickets, track transactions until they are completed

• Audit processed information, identify errors, and request corrections

Other

• Be a change advocate align to Eaton EBS model

• Correct use of safety equipment in required areas

• Report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor and/or Safety Officer.

• Observe and comply with established safety rules

• Contribute with your ideas to improve the health and safety of the plant,

• Other areas required

Qualifications:

Education : Associate degree in Office Administration (Human Resources preferred) or related field.

Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Experience human resources functions, or similar administrative roles.

Skills:

Customer Service Oriented

• Bilingual (verbal, written and spoken)

• Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Word,

• Creativity and Excellent skills in preparing presentations, data gathering and planning employee

engagement events.

Mental Demands:

• Highest quality of service to employees

• Perform your tasks effectively, efficiently, and on time

• Develop required reports on time

• Communicate effectively with the department and individuals to achieve maximum efficiency

• Provide good communication skills externally and internally
