WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:
The Technical Part:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or related field with more than ten (10+) years of experience estimating within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player and problem-solving skills
- Experience in:
- Manufacturing industry and a proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive estimates.
- Deep understanding of engineering projects, cost analysis, and profit margins.
- Proposal & RFP management.
- Estimating software and tools, Microsoft Office Suit and familiarity with ERP systems.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Prepare Detailed Estimates: Analyze project requirements and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
- Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring all client requirements and specifications are met.
- RFP Responses: Develop and coordinate responses to RFPs, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost analysis to determine project profitability and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimating.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and RFP responses, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide clarifications on estimates and proposals, and build strong, positive relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to continuously improve the estimating process.
