Visual/Peforming Arts Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging art and/or music lesson plans that align with the Puerto Rico Department of Education curriculum standards for grades K-12.
• Instruct students in the fundamentals and techniques of visual arts or music, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students at different developmental levels.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student creativity, participation, and self-expression.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and performances, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
• Organize and manage school art exhibitions, concerts, or other events to showcase student talent and promote the arts within the school and community.
• Manage classroom resources, including art supplies or musical instruments, ensuring a safe and organized learning space.
