EHS Specialist

Are you passionate about construction safety and creating a workplace where everyone goes home safely? We are seeking a proactive, hands-on E HS Specialist to support our construction projects and help promote a strong culture of safety.

What You'll Do

• Conduct site inspections and identify unsafe conditions, hazards, and safety risks.
• Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and field teams to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in project planning and assist with Pre-Task Plans, hazard assessments, and safety procedures.
• Monitor safety compliance and stop unsafe work when necessary.
• Support inspections, incident and near-miss investigations, corrective actions, and safety training.
• Coordinate safety permits and requirements, including Confined Space, Hot Work, and Lockout/Tagout.
• Maintain accurate safety records, training documentation, inspections, and equipment certifications.
• Represent the project during OSHA, client, or other external safety inspections.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and relevant construction safety experience may be considered.

• Minimum of 3 years of construction safety or EHS experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Safety training experience or additional certifications are a plus.
