*About the Role*

The Food & Beverage Attendant ensures smooth front-of-house operations by providing welcoming and efficient table service to guests. This includes preparing tables, presenting menus, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and hospitable environment. F&B Attendants contribute directly to the overall guest experience and are expected to uphold high service standards.

*Hourly Rate: $5.00 plus tip*

*Key Responsibilities*

· Set up and reset tables with attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation

· Greeting guests upon arrival and engage in a friendly, professional manner

· Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and answer questions confidently

· Serve meals and drinks accurately and in a timely manner

· Check on guest satisfaction during and after meals, and handle concerns promptly

· Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and fellow floor staff to ensure efficient service flow

· Clear and clean tables quickly and discreetly between courses and after use

· Process bills and payments accurately using the POS system

· Always follow food safety and workplace hygiene standards

· Assist with opening and closing duties as required

· Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment

· Able to stand for long periods and carry trays or multiple plates

· Attention to detail with cleanliness and order accuracy

· Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays

· Orders are taken and delivered accurately and efficiently

· Dining areas are clean, well-stocked, and professionally presented

· Guest interactions are positive, responsive, and aligned with service standards

*Physical Requirements:*

* Stand and walk continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
* Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, and move quickly throughout the dining and service areas.
* Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Safely transport food, beverages, trays, dishware, and service equipment through busy dining areas.
* Use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks including carrying trays, handling glassware, operating a POS system, opening bottles, and setting tables.
* Maintain balance while carrying loaded trays and navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, or crowded guest areas when applicable.
* Read menus, order tickets, and computer screens, and communicate effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
* Work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat, humidity, kitchen temperatures, and occasional inclement weather.
* Tolerate moderate levels of noise, frequent interruptions, and high-volume service periods while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
* Perform repetitive motions involving the arms, wrists, hands, and shoulders throughout the shift.
* Safely operate restaurant equipment and use cleaning products in accordance with company safety procedures.
* Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to Tryst Hospitality's uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards throughout each shift.
