Responsabilidades:
- Bajo supervisión directa, realiza una variedad de tareas manuales generales como levantar y mover materiales, cargar y descargar vehículos, cavar y rellenar agujeros.
- Puede realizar mantenimiento exterior como cortar el césped, desmalezar, recortar y lavar ventanas.
- Supervisa y opera equipos e instalaciones, incluyendo equipos de campo, asegurando la calidad y la conformidad con los procedimientos operativos estándar.
- Mantiene los estándares de seguridad en todo momento e inicia y sigue los procedimientos de emergencia cuando sea necesario.
- Rotea a través de varios roles dentro del área, incluyendo, en algunos casos, una rotación en la sala de control.
- Conducir y operar maquinaria agrícola para la siembra y cultivo.
- Inspeccionar y mantener los cultivos de semillas.
- Apoyar la gestión del inventario de semillas en la planta.
Responsabilidades Estacionales
Primavera y Verano (Abril-Agosto)
- Reetiquetar las semillas en casa.
- Reempaquetar semillas devueltas.
- Inspeccionar las cajas Pro para asegurarse de que estén libres de escombros y limpias.
- Lavar las cajas Pro según sea necesario.
Otoño (Septiembre-Octubre)
- Recibir y procesar camiones que transportan cultivos, incluyendo pesaje y descarga.
- Realizar operaciones de deshoje y clasificación
- Operar el secador para cumplir con los estándares de seguridad, calidad y financieros.
- Descascarar y almacenar el cultivo en los silos.
- Suministrar a la departamento de Acondicionamiento una oferta constante de semillas.
- Aplicar los tratamientos apropiados a las semillas.
Invierno (Noviembre-Marzo)
- Etiquetar, marcar, empaquetar y paletizar semillas.
- Ingresar la información del inventario en el sistema informático.
- Preparar las semillas para el envío en el almacén.
Cualificaciones:
- Diploma de escuela secundaria
- Conocimiento y Experiencia en Operadores de scissor and aerial lift, operador de bob cat, operador de digger, operador de boom lift
- Disponibilidad para trabajar todos los turnos, fines de semana y feriados.
- Localización: Aibonito, P.R. (por los primeros 3 meses luego continua en Salinas, P.R.)
