*General Summary of Position: *This position manages the Agricultural Mediation Program (MAMP), the Parent Mediation Program (PMP), and the Affordable Housing Mediation Program (HAC) for MOPC with the following responsibilities as relevant to the specific programs: program and process design; program/project management; monitoring and evaluation; processing inquiries and referrals; conducting intakes, screenings and assessments; assigning/overseeing practitioners; coordinating mediations; designing, delivering and coordinating practitioner trainings; managing contract-related work of qualified affiliate practitioners and community mediation centers; handling sponsor relationships, data collection, reporting and invoicing. In addition, the Program Manager is periodically assigned by the Executive Director to deliver mediation, facilitation, training and project management services for special MOPC conflict resolution and public engagement initiatives.* *Examples of Duties: *
* *MAMP, PMP and HAC Program Management: *developing program policies, procedures, forms, scopes of work for contracts; conducting program outreach including social media and creating program website content; responding to inquiries; screening cases; determining eligibility; scheduling mediations; assigning, supervising, overseeing mediators and community mediation centers services; mediating/facilitating as needed; administering participant evaluations; collecting case forms; planning and leading meetings with program partners; overseeing data collection; coordinating collection of program invoices; preparing program and financial reports to state and federal sponsors; coordinating sponsor relations; assisting with program evaluation and program fundraising for government contracts and grant applications; creating and managing shared program resources; attending to financial and operational functions related to programs; participating in the Coalition of Agricultural Mediation Programs and in collaborative initiatives in relevant fields as feasible.
* *Program Capacity Building Management: *designing and managing program capacity building and training projects (e.g., MAMP mediator training for community mediators and affiliate practitioners, and PMP mediator and case coordinator orientations for community mediation centers; and center trainings); contributing to planning and fundraising for program capacity building (as needed); coordinating engagement of MOPC consultants, affiliate practitioners, community mediation centers, students, and other project partners; convening, designing and facilitating meetings; delivering educational sessions and trainings (as needed); preparing project updates; data collection and reporting; and assisting with evaluation. Assisting the Director of Community Mediation Programs with grant-making processes and assisting with system-wide training initiatives.
*C. Minimum Qualifications: **Required:*Bachelor's degree and minimum of four (4) years of administrative or managerial experience in mediation/conflict resolution program management, involving program design and administration, screening and assessment, mediation, training, and supervision of practitioners. Certificate of completion of thirty hours of mediation training required. Experience as a mediator and conflict resolution trainer required.*Preferred:** Master's degree with a major in conflict resolution or a closely related field, law, or public policy.
* Training and/or experience in conflict coaching, restorative justice, and facilitating collaborative processes.
* Knowledge of Massachusetts state and local government, and trial court.
* Fundraising/grant-writing experience.
* Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential or sensitive information.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse professional population, including governmental officials, civic leaders, community groups, attorneys, dispute resolution practitioners, and members of the public.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Strong organizational, writing and computer skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
* Knowledge or experience with outreach and promotional materials and tools, including websites.
* Ability to use and develop contacts databases and social media.
* Ability to draft press releases and articles for publication.
* Familiarity with Massachusetts agriculture-related issues and organizations.
