The Technical Part:
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration with at least five (5) years of experience supporting mechanical and utilities activities within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Shift: 12 hour shift
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in:
- Performing and coordination of preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment utilized within the utilities department, adhering to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, drawings, and manufacturer specifications.
- HVAC, boilers, cooling towers, chillers, dust collectors, and purified water systems.
- GMP and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting and the ability to quickly diagnose and repair issues for mechanical, electrical, and/or pneumatic issues according to relevant procedures (SOPs, and troubleshooting guidelines).

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of a variety of utility systems including HVAC systems, boilers, cooling towers, chillers, dust collectors, and purified water systems.
- Demonstrating comprehensive familiarity with the operation, cleaning, and maintenance instructions for all equipment within the Utilities Department.
- Ensuring that machinery operates in compliance with manufacturing specifications and engineering recommendations.
- Continuously assessing mechanical conditions that may necessitate repairs to prevent production interruptions or costly machine breakdowns.
- Adhering to and documenting applicable preventive maintenance schedules in the Maximo System.
- Proficiently executing complex corrective maintenance tasks and recording them in work orders as required.
- E nsuring the appropriate utilization of safety equipment within the machine room and verifying the functionality of all safety devices.
- Monitoring equipment in operation, listening for abnormal sounds, and utilizing instrumentation to identify potential issues or malfunctions.
- Proficiently disassembling devices to access and replace defective components, conducting thorough examinations to identify imperfections
- Communicate and manage any situation that can contribute to downtime in the operations with Engineering Management and Operations Management.
- Monitor and operate HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and controlled environmental conditions for facilities rooms, including, Cooling Towers, Chillers, and other cooling systems to regulate building temperature.
- Operate and maintain Dust collectors and Air Compressors, Process Water and Purified Water systems.
