Propósito del Puesto :
El encargado de la piscina, es responsable de garantizar la seguridad de los huéspedes y empleados en el área de la piscina. También es responsable del mantenimiento y conservación de las piscinas y sus alrededores, incluyendo el área de la playa.
Responsabilidades :
- Dar la bienvenida a los huéspedes y velar por su seguridad y comodidad.
- Garantizar la seguridad de los huéspedes y empleados del hotel mientras se encuentran en el área de la piscina al monitorear el uso de la piscina y asegurarse de que todos los huéspedes cumplan con las reglas y pautas de seguridad publicadas.
- Asegúrese de que solo los huéspedes registrados, o con pases diarios utilicen las instalaciones de la piscina y/o playa.
- Asegurar el mantenimiento y limpieza del área de la piscina y la playa (incluyendo el mobiliario de las mismas); utilice una lista de verificación “checklist” del área de la piscina para monitorear la calidad, diariamente.
- Instalación de sombrillas, tumbonas y demás mobiliario de piscina y/o playa.
- Mantener un inventario suficiente de suministros (toallas, flotadores, SPF, etc.).
- Proporcionar a los huéspedes toallas, sombra y atender sus solicitudes.
- Hacer cumplir los protocolos de seguridad establecidos.
- Supervisar la actividad de los huéspedes y velar por su seguridad.
- Reportar cualquier daño o incidencia al supervisor, o al departamento de seguridad inmediatamente.
- Completar informes y registros diarios según sea necesario.
- Se presenta a sus labores puntualmente y cumple con las políticas y procedimientos de disciplina, presentación, horarios, áreas de tránsito y normas de seguridad establecidas por el Hotel.
- Encargado del área de toallero y su debido registro.
- Asistir en las actividades del departamento de recreaciones.
- Mantener las canchas de recreaciones limpias y organizadas.
- Mantener en perfecto orden su área de trabajo.
- Asiste a las juntas del departamento y participa continuamente en la capacitación programada para su posición.
- Completar proyectos especiales según lo asignado por la gerencia.
- Ejecuta todas las instrucciones y trabajos que le sean asignados por su superior inmediato, así como las responsabilidades que el cargo requiera.
Requisitos mínimos del puesto :
- Diploma de escuela superior.
- Experiencia en hotel o área relacionada, preferiblemente.
- Horario flexible (disponible para trabajar tiempo extra, turnos diurnos y nocturnos, días festivos y fines de semana).
- Dominio del inglés y español.
- Se le requiere estar de pie, caminar o agacharse. Debe levantar un mínimo de 50 libras de peso.
- Excelentes destrezas en comunicación.
- Capacidad para trabajar en equipo.
- Tener una actitud de servicio, cordialidad y amabilidad.
