DESCRIPTION
Our client , a leading global distribution company is hiring an accountant position.This Global service Hub based in PR is the main center for the supply chain operation that makes decision -making worldwide.
Job Scope
The accountant position plays an important supporting role in maintaining the financial operational efficiency. This position supports closing activities, and maintains compliance with established controls. This position is a key contributor to the organization's ability to deliver timely and reliable financial information.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
* Support the preparation of financial reports
* Maintain and update accounting records and documentation to comply with Company policies
* Support audit processes
* Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting
* Collaborate with corporate cross -functional teams
* Participate in financial analysis and variance analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field
* Two plus years of accounting experience
* Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
* Progress toward a professional certification (i.e. CPA)
* Exposure to ERP systems (Sap Preferred)
* Internship or previous experience in multinational companies or shared services environment nice to have.
* Fully bilingual
* Work-Mode: Hybrid (three days on-site in Metro Area)
