*About the Role*

Enloe Medical Center is seeking an experienced *GI Services Nurse Manager* to provide clinical, operational, and leadership oversight for GI Services. This position works closely with the Director of Surgery Services to promote high-quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and departmental performance.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Lead and supervise nursing staff within GI Services.
* Promote high-quality patient care and best clinical practices.
* Support department budgeting, productivity, and resource management.
* Manage staffing, employee development, performance, and satisfaction.
* Implement quality improvement initiatives and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Monitor departmental operations, patient outcomes, and service quality.
* Participate in strategic planning and program development.
* Provide education and serve as a clinical resource to staff and other departments.
* Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized patient care plans.
* Ensure appropriate implementation and documentation of patient care.
* Provide direct patient care, education, or Charge Nurse coverage as needed.

*Required Qualifications*

* *5 years of cumulative GI experience*
* *1 year of supervisory experience* in the relevant area
* *Current California RN License*
* *Current* *CPR/BLS certification*
* *Current* *ACLS certification*
* *PALS certification* within 12 months of hire
* Strong leadership, communication, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills

*Preferred Qualifications*

* *BSN or related bachelor's degree*
* *2 years of Critical Care experience*
* *Certified Gastrointestinal Registered Nurse (CGRN)*
* *Professional organization membership and management/supervision conference participation*
